Mama's has the best fried chicken in town. They give you a really large portions, and the chicken pieces are large. Definitely recommend it if you're in town.

If you go to Opelousas you have to try Moma's always great food and the homemade bread is to die for.

Large portions, several sides to pick, good flavor. Service was a little slow but very friendly. Fried pickles were great

Best fast food in town at great price with some of the best service. If you have a large group to feed their party trays are the ticket.

Usually am a fan of their food but after today, I must say I’ll forever pass when it comes to Mamas. Ordered a chicken tender combo, got home ready to dig into my meal and the chicken is raw. Understand being a busy food chain but raw chicken. Chileeee, but i love their lemonade!

I ordered an order of onion rings and a shrimp po boy. The shrimp in the po boy was good expect it had one half slice of tomato and 3 strings of lettuce. My onion rings were still raw!!! There was still white patches of flour on them and they were very pale. Not to mention my onion rings were bland. For the price I paid it was not worth it!!! Definitely won't be back don't waste your money. Especially if you want authentic cajun food.

I love this place, I just moved here, and Popeyes is so exspincive anymore, this place is friendly fast and really great food at a reasonable price, the size of the chicken pieces are not real big but big enough that you feel you got your money's worth, but what impressed me the most was the good food fast and friendly

The fried chicken was the bomb! My family devoured everything. We also bought fried livers and gizzards...wow! Oh and the biscuits....my goodness.

Food is always good,but prices are very high for inexpensive products such as leg quarters which you can buy 10Lbs. For $3.97,but mama's charge $5.00 for 2 pieces of chicken go figure.

Great fried foods and gumbo. Everything is a little spicy, but not overly so. I liked the 'Mama's Potato Bowl', which is mashed potatoes topped with crumbled bacon, cheese, gravy and fried chicken or shrimp. Delicious!
